When the Nixon library and birthplace was private, and allowed consignments, representative copies of each title were placed on display. Once the library went public, book consignments stopped and were placed under consideration for a future date. Richard Nixon's private secretary, who previously ran the Nixon library, personally accepted this collection for consignment.In addition to the Richard and Pat Nixon collection, there are selected titles from other presidents, first ladies, diginitaries and foreign leaders.
